Ella Foundation Supports Girls at Buguruni Deaf School

In celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child, the Ella Foundation visited Buguruni Deaf School to distribute sanitary towels to 55 girls as part of our ongoing commitment to empowering girls.

Addressing Menstrual Health

Many girls miss school due to lack of menstrual products. By providing sanitary towels, we ensure deaf girls can continue their education without interruption.

Engagement and Awareness

Our team engaged with students and staff, discussing the importance of menstrual hygiene and breaking the stigma around menstruation through accessible sign language communication.
