Ella Foundation was honored to be invited by Mazingira Plus to attend the official handover ceremony of the Zero Waste Management Project at Jangwani Secondary School. The event marked a significant milestone in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability among Tanzanian youth.

Our participation included students from Buguruni Deaf School, who engaged actively in learning about zero waste management practices. Through interactive sessions and demonstrations, our Deaf students gained valuable knowledge on how to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste, and how their actions can directly contribute to a cleaner, greener future.

Ella Foundation remains committed to ensuring that Deaf youth are included in critical conversations around environmental protection. We believe that empowering all young people with knowledge and tools for sustainability is key to building an inclusive and eco-conscious society.
